Continuing Education Programs
The HealthCare Partnership’s Tobacco Dependence Treatment Continuing Education Programs are approved by nationally accredited health and human service boards that verify compliance for continuing education activities and services. Endorsement by these boards requires that all activities demonstrate educational, ethical, and medical standards of the highest quality.
What is Certification?
Certification is the formal recognition of clinical research professionals who have met more eligibility requirements and demonstrated specific skills.
Why be Certified??
Certification helps us be effective, focused and efficient in helping people make improved health decisions.
Earning certification demonstrates that you have achieved the research industry’s premier certification in tobacco dependence treatment. Benefits include:
- Evidence of experience and qualifications of a research team
- Validation of competency
- Reduction of risk
As recommended by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), certification in tobacco treatment will help assure the delivery of effective, evidence-based treatment to those tobacco users who need more intensive intervention than healthcare providers can provide in the course of delivering routine care.
